From Ashes To New

Appearing in: dallas-fort-worth, el-paso-new-mexico, boston

From Ashes to New formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2013, built around the dual vocal chemistry of Matt Brandyberry and Chris Musser. Rather than picking a lane — heavy metal, rap, or melodic rock — the band deliberately blurred the lines between them, arriving at a sound that pulls from nu-metal, post-hardcore, and hip-hop simultaneously. That approach resonated immediately with audiences hungry for the aggressive, emotionally direct music that defined early 2000s rock radio.

The band signed to Better Noise Music and released their debut album Day One in 2016, followed by The Future in 2018, Quarantine in 2021, and Blackout in 2023. Across those records they refined their formula: Brandyberry delivers rapid-fire rap verses while Musser anchors the hooks with melodic, arena-ready choruses, all backed by crunching guitar work and production that sounds genuinely massive. Singles like "My Fight," "Panic," and "Through It All" broke through on rock radio and earned consistent rotation on SiriusXM's Octane channel.

Their reputation as a live band has been built through relentless touring as a support act for some of rock's biggest names, including Black Veil Brides, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, and Breaking Benjamin. Those touring relationships have introduced them to audiences who might not have sought them out independently but quickly became converts after experiencing their kinetic stage show in person. In 2026 they return to the road alongside Black Veil Brides, continuing to bring their two-vocalist assault to new rooms and new fans across North America.
