Black Veil Brides

Appearing in: austin-san-antonio, boston, cleveland

Black Veil Brides formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2006, founded by vocalist Andy Biersack — then performing under the name Andy Six. Drawing early inspiration from the theatrical shock-rock and glam metal of bands like KISS, Alice Cooper, and Mötley Crüe, Biersack relocated to Los Angeles and assembled the lineup that would carry the band to international recognition. The name itself was drawn from the image of a bride dressed in black on her wedding day, a symbol of rebellion against conforming to others' expectations.

The band's discography spans over a decade of arena-ready hard rock. Their 2010 debut We Stitch These Wounds debuted at number one on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, introducing their signature blend of heavy guitar riffs, soaring choruses, and dramatic visual storytelling. Subsequent albums — including Set the World on Fire (2011), Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones (2013), their self-titled fourth record (2014), Vale (2018), and The Phantom Tomorrow (2021) — built on that foundation while expanding their sonic range from stripped-back rock to sweeping, orchestrated arrangements.

Live performance is where Black Veil Brides truly distinguish themselves. Their shows are full-production events featuring elaborate costumes, dramatic lighting, and a connection with their audience — a community the band calls the BVB Army — that borders on the devotional. They have headlined major rock festivals and toured extensively across North America, Europe, Australia, and beyond, consistently drawing devoted crowds who know every word to every song.

The current touring lineup features Andy Biersack on lead vocals alongside guitarist Jake Pitts, bassist Lonny Eagleton, drummer Christian Coma, and guitarist Jinxx, who also contributes string arrangements that give the band's sound its distinctive cinematic weight. Their 2026 North American Tour continues a long tradition of delivering one of the most visually and sonically ambitious shows in modern rock.
